The Magna Plaza is located behind the Royal Palace at Dam Square and on the corner of Raadhuisstraat and Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. You’ll first spot the Magna Plaza for it’s beauty and Neo-Gothic style design. Especially if your waiting to cross the road, It’s a magnificent looking building.
When entering the Magna Plaza, you’ll be able to pick up some fresh cheese from the stall just inside the door. Or take one of the beautiful glass elevators to the floor of your choice. If you’d rather look over the inside of the Magna Plaza, take the escalators and enjoy spotting the shops you want to go into first.
You’ll find all manner of shops, from cafes and places to grab a bite to eat from. To clothing stores and the fabulous Swarovski crystal shop.
If your popping into the Magna Plaza to avoid the rain and don’t fancy looking around, then why not enjoy a hot beverage from the Coffee bar on the top floor. If you fancy a bit to eat, then enjoy your favourite paste dish on the ground floor.
The Magna Plaza is one of the last remaining shopping centres in Amsterdam. So not only are you visiting a piece of magnificent history with the building itself. Your getting an experience not available in many other places across Amsterdam.

You can find the Magna Plaza centre directly behind the Royal Palace which is looking over Dam Square. If your looking for it on a map, Then keep your eye out for Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal as it’s on the corner of Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal and Raadhuisstraat.
