More than a hundred years ago, the Ajax Museum was built in Amsterdam. It is currently located inside the popular football stadium called Amsterdam Arena. It was made to showcase the history of the club, the untold stories, their coveted wins, and a lot more. This is definitely a must-see for all the football enthusiasts especially to all the Ajax fanatics.
If you want to know the history of Ajax, there are captions that you can read under the photos of each success and failures of the club. You may also find several documents such as articles and newspaper headlines from the past that would prove how the Ajax club became the most successful football clubs in Europe since 1900.
In the same museum, you will also know the different famous football players who used to be or still part of the Ajax club including Rodney Sneijder, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to name a few.
But aside from the grandiose trophies and the stories that would tell you about the history of the club, you may also get to see the personal belongings of the legendary players who once played for the Ajax. There are caps, shirts, and items that they consider lucky showcased at the museum. These are considered as collector’s items and unfortunately, none of these are on sale.

The Ajax Museum can be visited from April 1 until the 30th of September no matter what day it is. However, don’t plan your visit when the Ajax club will be playing at the Amsterdam Arena since the museum is not accessible during that time.
