The map below was put together by myself to help me find where the hotels are that most travel agents offer. If you would like a hotel adding, just send me the info through our contact form.

Hotels in Amsterdam are EVERYWHERE. I don’t mean that in a “You’ll find one easy” i mean that is in they are literally everywhere. Not just are they everywhere, but there is a hotel in Amsterdam to suit the need of everyone.
Whether your looking for a nice quiet 5 star hotel in Amsterdam centre. Or a cheap hotel that’s busy with people and slightly out of the way. Hotels in Amsterdam have it all.
Just for an example, you leave centraal Station and walk down Damrak. You are immediately confronted with signs offering great rates and rooms on offer. from 2 star hotels all the way through to 5 star beauties. From there take just about any turning and again you’ll see even more hotels offering rooms.Hotels in Amsterdam are hard to miss.
It also depends on what your looking for when your in Amsterdam. Do you want to be near the museums or near the red light district? Is it the markets or the coffeeshops your looking for? These kind of things can make the difference between which hotel you should choose.(You don’t want a hotel in the middle of the market area if your wanting museums.)
For the kind of holiday we enjoy, we choose a nice cheap hotel just outside of Dam Square. The Di Ann hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from where we want to be. Giving us more time to do what we want rather than travelling around on trams (I don’t share the Dutch’s passion for trams).
Whether your looking for a 1 star,2 star or even 5 star hotel. Hopefully we have hotels listed to suit your needs. We haven’t stayed in all the hotels listed. In fact we’ve probably not stayed at more than a handful.
