The Crown hotel stands in the red light district of Amsterdam on Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Facing the canal, the 1 star Crown hotel is set in a 350 year old canal house in this old part of Amsterdam.

The Crown hotel only has 15 rooms in it’s historic building. So their shouldn’t be a rush of people. Inside at least, outside is different matter. As the building is so old, the rooms are only accessible by the staircase in the hotel. So if you need a hotel with an elevator, the Crown hotel isn’t for you.

Some of the rooms are suitable for larger groups. With space for upto six people, the Crown hotel is great for backpackers or large groups of friends such as stag do’s or hen parties.

Things to do close to the Crown hotel include, visiting the Oude Kerk,Red light district,coffeeshops or a scenic canal tour.

Internet is available at the hotel, so anyone needing to upload pictures or check their emails. Can do it easily from the hotel.
