Raadhuisstraat
Amsterdam
(Close to Dam Square and the Magna Plaza)
The Di Ann Hotel can be found just past Dam Square on Raadhuisstraat. It’s a 5 minute walk from Dam Square and only 15 minutes away from the Central Station.
For a 2 star hotel, the Di Ann hotel serves all your needs, so as long as you don’t mind climbing the steep stair case. Staff at the Di Ann are friendly, helpful and on both of our visits there, we’ve never had a problem with the staff nor the hotel.
The 42 rooms of the Di Ann are spread out over 3 floors. If you’d like a room with a balcony, then you’ll be on the first floor close to the reception area. This floor is perfect in my opinion. No extra stairs to walk up, and a beautiful view over Raadhuisstraat and the Apple centre which is directly opposite.
The rooms are all equipped with the same facilities such as:
- A fridge
- Telephone
- Cable TV
- Private bathroom with shower included
- Safe
- Internet
With plenty to do within close proximity, The Di Ann hotel makes an excellent starting point for any holiday. Especially if your looking for things to do close to Dam Square.
With the Magna Plaza at the end of the road and the food supermarket, you’ll be able to pick up a bargain whilst shopping for food to take back and enjoy at the hotel. With Westermarkt up the road and the Anne Frank House not far away, you’ll be sure to enjoy your holiday break in Amsterdam
The Di Ann offers a basic breakfast with toast, cereal and hot coffee and tea, but there’s a pancake house just downstairs and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat from if you don’t fancy eating at the hotel.
Tram Info:
Trams 13,14 and 17 go to the Westermarkt at the end of Raadhuisstraat. Alternatively take any tram to Dam Square/Paleisstraat.
