One of the first things many people think about when you mention Amsterdam, is the sight of windmills everywhere. Windmills are an interesting sight for many of the visitors that the Netherlands receive. Try and find the 8 windmills that are located in the centre of the city.
Popular Squares
Amsterdam has many popular squares, One of the most popular is probably Dam Square which is in the heart of the city. The Oude Kerk or Old church can be found in the red light district. This old church is still standing and has been restored over the years. It’s worth checking out the detailed work thats been put into this gothic style building.
