Amsterdam Airport (Amsterdam International Airport) is actually known as Schiphol. It’s located just outside of the city centre and accessible via roads,rail and taxis.(Obviously it’s accessible by air too.

It’s just 20 minutes away so there really is no problems either finding the airport, or finding your way to the city via the train link which takes you directly to Central Station.
