Red Light District

Amsterdam’s Red light District can be found between the two canals Oudezijds Achterburgwal and Oudezijds Voorburgwal and covers more than just these two canals alone. Once on the canal side, the red light district surrounds you. Down every alley way and every street there is some event related to the Red light district of Amsterdam.

This part of town is popular with tourists through the early evening hours, but becomes busy with guys just looking for where they want to be later on. The atmosphere totally changes after about 10pm we noticed. You might want to read through a few tips for the red light district to keep yourself safe
