Easyjet have announced that they’ll be flying to Amsterdam as well as other locations from the Doncaster-Sheffield airport. Known as the Robin Hood airport.
As well as Amsterdams Schiphol airport on the list of Easyjets new flights from the region, they’ll also be carrying passengers away to Barcelona (Spain) ,Prague (Czech) Palma (Mallorca) and Faro (Portugal).
Whether or not they’ll be cheaper than other flights leaving from Manchester or Leeds-Bradford or not is yet to be seen. But with more flights leaving from the North of the UK, surely prices will drop amongst the competition.
The flights will be departing daily to Amsterdam and are expected to start around April the 19th 2010.
More info available at Robin Hood Airport.
