Our Amsterdam Holidays

Have you ever tried planning a secret holiday without anyone else knowing about it? We haven’t, but it is something we’re thinking about doing.

Before i go any further, you may be thinking “Why go on a secret holiday?” Well have you ever noticed how everyone has something to say about things that don’t affect them at all? If you have then you’ll understand the reason. If you haven’t, well it will all make sense in time.

The reason for our secret holiday is to enjoy the last holiday we’ll be having for a while. There’s some stuff that just can’t be avoided which means we’ll be having our last holiday for a while at the end of January. (You heard it here first!).

The last trip to Amsterdam we went on was a buzz and full of fun, but as this may be our last for a year or so. We really want to go back and have one last blow out if you know what i mean. A trip round all the tourist places and soaking up as much of Amsterdam as we can.

Planning a secret holiday is kinda tricky, first of all you gotta make sure that your friends don’t notice that you’ve disappeared for a while. We have plan for this. The other problem is getting the funds together to actually go. We only came back a month ago and are already planning this “secret” holiday, Christmas is just around the corner and it all seems to be getting a bit too much.

With a bit of luck and some well organized planning, this holiday should go ahead without any hitches.

Our plan is to stay in one of the hotels on Damrak (They appear to be cheaper than the Flyingpig hostel) for a maximum of 3 nights. Any longer and we’ll simply have no cash to enjoy our holiday.
